I wouldn’t call myself a collector. Meanwhile, a few of the best pieces are enough to satisfy my curiosity. I constructed this Archive to document my ongoing efforts in a few areas of interest,
The Five Senses
In 2014, I began my journey in visual art, learning and experimenting with various visual works. At the time, I was intensely concentrated on visual presentation as a means to express my ideas. However, the limitations of this singular approach quickly became clear.
Before birth, we are already familiar with taste and sound. Upon entering the world, we acquire vision. As a new form of life, vision becomes something novel and fascinating. Naturally, we seek to use this ability to explore, learn, and understand the unfamiliar world. However, our reliance on vision often limits us. Many things that seem apparent are based solely on visual perception, restricting our ability to explore the inner and outer environments from alternative stances.
The senses require practice and development through continuous comparison, learning, and exploration. Because we are so accustomed to relying on vision, training and enhancing our other senses is particularly meaningful—a principle I deeply value.
This section is structured based on the human five senses, where I share my journey of exploration into perception. These creations differ from my experiments and projects. Their essence lies in being finished products, which I view as nourishment to inspire and sustain my future works.
